Scanner Forms
The photos above show the use of projected light along with 3D scanning software to recreate a human form as a 3D model. Projected light scanning reconstructs 3D objects with horizontal light rows, which might be converted to 2D slices and passed to a 3D printer through G-code. The ultimate goal was to exploit the underlying structure of projected light scanning to convert scans directly to 3D-printable objects.
